Steak with hollandaise sauce and broccoli

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 800 g Broccoli
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 4 Beef fillet steaks (approx. 150 g each)
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 2 TABLESPOONS whole almond kernels with skin
  • 1 (30 g) Bag of Hollandaise sauce
  • 125 g Butter
  • 7-10 Tbsp pink berries
  • 7-10 Tbsp a few squirts of orange juice
  • 400 g frozen croquettes
  • 1/2 l Frying fat
  • 7-10 Tbsp Parsley

Directions

    Clean broccoli, wash it and cut it into small florets. Pour into boiling salted water and cook for about 7 minutes. Wash the fillets and dab dry. Fry them in hot oil on each side. Season with salt and pepper and fry for 5-8 minutes at medium heat until done. For the sauce, chop almonds and fry briefly in a pan without fat. Add 200 ml water and heat up.

    Stir in sauce powder and bring to the boil. Cut butter into small pieces and stir in gradually at low heat. Season with crushed pink berries and a few squirts of orange juice. Heat the frying fat in a deep fryer. Fry the croquettes for about 5 minutes. Arrange steaks with broccoli and hollandaise sauce on plates. Serve garnished with parsley
