Knead flour, ground almonds, fat in pieces, salt, whole sugar, egg and spices first with a hand mixer, then with your hands to a smooth dough. Chill for about 2 hours
Knead the dough again and roll out on almond flakes about 5 mm thick. Cut the dough into approx. 45 strips (approx. 2 x 10 cm). Twist each strip in a spiral
Place the spirals on 2 baking trays lined with baking paper. Bake in a hot oven (electric cooker: 175 °C / convection oven: 150 °C / gas: level 2) for 12-14 minutes. Let them cool down. Dust with icing sugar
