Ingredients

  • 1 Onion
  • 1 small red chili pepper
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 100 g Bacon
  • 400 g Spaghetti
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 1 TEASPOON Oil
  • 1 TABLESPOON Tomato paste
  • 150 ml Vegetable broth (instant)
  • 1 can(s) (425 ml) Tomatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 4 Stem(s) Basil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Parmesan slicer

Directions

    Peel and finely chop the onion. Halve the chilli pod, remove the seeds and chop the pod finely. Halve the tomatoes, clean and cut into small pieces. Cut the bacon into small cubes.

    Prepare the pasta in boiling salted water according to the instructions on the packet. Heat the oil in a pot. Leave out the bacon. Add onion cubes and chili, then stir in tomato paste and sweat for about 1 minute.

    Deglaze with broth. Add canned tomatoes and chop a little. Add the diced tomatoes. Season sauce with salt and pepper and simmer for about 5 minutes. Wash the basil and dab dry. Cut leaves of 2 stems into thin strips and add to the sauce.

    Drain the pasta and serve with the sauce. Sprinkle with parmesan slices and garnish with basil.
