Ingredients

Servings: 1
  • 125 g Baking marzipan (e.g. from Niederegger)
  • 50 g + 50 g icing sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp red food colouring
  • 7-10 Tbsp approx. 2 1⁄2 Tsp cocoa
  • 2 Chocolate sugar beads

Directions

  1. 1

Take the cake out of the oven and let it cool down. Whip the cream with the whisk of the hand mixer until stiff. Cut the cake into pieces. Serve with whipped cream

  2. 2

Knead the rest of the marzipan with 2 tsp. cocoa. Remove 2 pieces the size of a hazelnut and form the head and ears from them. Remove 2 hazelnut-sized pieces from the cocoa marzipan and knead with approx. 1⁄2 tsp. cocoa.

  3. 3

Form four hooves from it. From the rest for the elk, form the body and two long and two short legs. To stick them together, mix 50 g icing sugar with a little water. Decorate nose and ears with a little bit of cast.

  4. 4

Assemble all parts to the moose. Press sugar beads into the head as eyes. Carefully press a small hole for the mouth below the nose.
