Slices of bread with Leberkäse

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 8 Salad leaves
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 collar Chives
  • 3 TABLESPOONS White wine vinegar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp white pepper
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 4 discs (50 g each) farmhouse bread
  • 8 (20 g each) thin slices of Leberkäse
  • 1 TABLESPOON Oil
  • 4 Eggs (size M)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sweet peppers

Directions

    Clean, wash and drain the salad. Pluck leaves a little smaller. Wash and halve the cucumber and cut into fine slices. Peel and quarter onion and cut into fine strips.

    Wash the chives, dab dry, put something aside for garnishing. Cut the rest into small rolls. Whisk vinegar, 3 tablespoons water, salt, pepper and sugar. Mix cucumber, chives and onion with the marinade.

    Roast the slices of bread one after the other in the toaster. Cover with salad and 2 slices of meat loaf each. Heat oil in a coated pan. Beat the eggs and fry in the fat. Sprinkle fried eggs with a little salt and paprika.

    Place 1 egg on each slice of bread. Garnish with chives put aside. Serve with the cucumber salad.
