Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 2 small sugar melons
  • 7-10 Tbsp (approx. 500 g each; e.g. Galia or Charentais melons)
  • 200 g Shrimps (deep sea crab meat)
  • 1 small onion
  • 2-3 stem(s) fresh or slightly dried dill
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Vinegar

  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1 TEASPOON pickled green peppercorns
  • 7-10 Tbsp (a. d. glass)

Directions

  1. 1

Cut melons crosswise in half and remove the seeds. Cut out balls from the flesh with a ball cutter. Remove the rest of the pulp with a spoon and cut it into small pieces (or use a spoon and dice it all).

  2. 2

Shrimp rinse, drain. Peel and finely chop the onion. Wash the dill and chop finely, except for a little bit. Mix vinegar, honey, salt and pepper. Fold in the oil. Fold in onion, dill, shrimps, peppercorns and melon pulp

  3. 3

Wash the salad, shake dry and pluck a little smaller. Line melon halves with it. Pour in the shrimp cocktail and garnish with the rest of the dill

  4. 4

Shrimps are available in brine, canned or frozen in

  5. 5

Trade. But you can also use North Sea crabs!
