Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 200 g Long grain rice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 2 colourful peppers
  • 400 g Pork cutlet (in pieces)
  • 40 g Bacon
  • 4-5 Tbsp Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 2 Onions
  • 3 Tomatoes
  • 2 Gherkins
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Tomato ketchup
  • 1 TABLESPOON Honey
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cayenne pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp a few squirts of lemon juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Parsley and lemon

Directions

    Put rice in boiling salted water. Let it swell for about 20 minutes at medium heat. Clean, wash and chop the peppers. Wash the meat and cut into cubes of about 3 cm.

    Put meat, paprika and bacon alternately on skewers. Shortly before serving, fry in 2-3 tablespoons of oil while turning for about 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. For the sauce, peel and finely dice the onions.

    Clean, wash, quarter and seed the tomatoes. Cut the flesh into small cubes. Finely dice cucumbers as well. Mix prepared ingredients, 2 tablespoons of oil, ketchup and honey. Season to taste with salt, cayenne pepper and lemon juice.

    Arrange the skewers and rice with the sauce in portions. Serve garnished with parsley and lemon.
