Sesame tofu with braised Chinese cabbage

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Head Chinese cabbage (approx. 250 g)
  • 250 g Carrots
  • 2 Leek sticks (leek)
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Milk
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 600 g Tofu
  • 6 TABLESPOONS Sesame seeds
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Soybean oil
  • 3-4 Tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1/2 bunch Chives

Directions

    Clean the Chinese cabbage, cutting out the stalk. Wash the cabbage and cut into strips. Peel carrots and cut them into pieces. Clean and wash leek and cut into rings. Whisk egg, milk, salt and pepper. Cut tofu into slices. First whisk in whisked egg, then turn in sesame seeds and fry in hot oil on both sides for 3-5 minutes.

    Remove the tofu slices from the pan. Fry the vegetables in the frying fat for about 10 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and soy sauce. Place the tofu slices on the vegetables shortly before the end of the cooking time and warm them up again. Wash the chives and cut into larger rolls. Sprinkle over tofu and vegetables
