Ingredients

  • 200 g Whole spelt flour
  • 1/2 TEASPOON Salt
  • 75 g Butter or margarine
  • 100 g Low-fat curd
  • 2 Vegetable Onions
  • 1 green and yellow pepper
  • 1 TABLESPOON Oil
  • 150 g Gruyère cheese
  • 250 g Sour cream (sour cream 24% fat)
  • 4 Eggs
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1 TEASPOON Caraway seeds
  • 1 heaped tablespoons of chopped almonds
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease

Directions

    For the dough, place flour, salt, fat, curd cheese and 3 tablespoons of water in a mixing bowl. Work through with the dough hooks of the hand mixer. Chill for about 1 hour. With cool hands knead to a smooth dough. Roll out the dough into a circle (34 cm Ø) on a floured work surface. Grease the pie form (30 cm Ø) and put the dough into it. Peel the vegetable onions and cut them into rings, paprika into coarse pieces. Sauté briefly with a little oil in a pan, remove and let cool off. Grate cheese finely. Whisk sour cream and eggs. Prick the pastry base several times with a fork. Fill the vegetables into the mould and pour the sour cream and egg mixture over them. Sprinkle with caraway seeds, almonds and the cheese. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for 30-40 minutes
