Sesame Chicken Baguette Turret

Ingredients

  • 1 Chicken filet (approx. 120 g)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 3-4 Tbsp Sesame seed (black + white)
  • 5 g Ginger
  • 1 TABLESPOON Oil
  • 3 Kumquats
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Honey
  • 20 Thin slices of baguette
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Süße Chilisoße
  • 3-4 Chive straws
  • 10 Toothpicks

Directions

    Wash the meat, dab dry and season with salt and pepper. Spread the sesame seeds on a flat plate, roll the meat in it and press the sesame seeds. Peel and slice the ginger.

    Heat the oil with the ginger slices in a pan. Fry the meat on each side at medium heat for about 5 minutes, remove and let it cool down. Wash the kumquats and cut into 10 slices.

    Heat the honey in a pan, toss the kumquats briefly in it and take them out. Spread baguette slices thinly with the chilli sauce. Cut the meat into 20 slices. Cut chives into 4-5 cm pieces and put them on the toothpicks.

    Make 10 turrets from 2 slices of baguette and 2 slices of chicken filet. Place one slice of kumquat on each tower and fix it with a chive toothpick.
