Serrano sandwiches

  • 4 small romaine lettuce leaves
  • 1 (approx. 120 g) Tomato
  • 125 g Mozzarella cheese
  • 4 Sandwich toast slices
  • 4 TSP pesto alla genovese
  • 120 g Serrano ham

Directions

    Clean, wash and dry the lettuce leaves. Wash the tomato and cut into thin slices. Drain mozzarella and cut into thin slices. Spread slices of bread with the pesto.

    Cover 2 slices with mozzarella, tomato, salad and ham. Finish with the remaining slices. Cut the breads diagonally in half and pack them in a tin to keep them fresh. Halve bread slices again when having a picnic.
