Ingredients

Servings: 8
  • 300 g Flour
  • 1 TABLESPOON Sugar
  • 2 TEASPOONS Baking Powder
  • 1 TEASPOON Baking soda
  • 1/4 TEASPOON Salt
  • 1/4 TEASPOON Cinnamon
  • 75 g Muesli (preferably without fruit, a Crunchy variety)
  • 60 g dried peaches or apricots, roughly chopped
  • 1/8 l cold milk
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 50 g Honey
  • 125 g cold butter
  • 7-10 Tbsp demerara sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • baking paper

    Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in a bowl. In a second bowl mix muesli with dried fruits. Mix milk, egg and honey in a mixing bowl. Quickly work butter in pieces into the flour mixture with your fingertips until it looks like coarse crumbles. Then add the milk mixture and

    stir everything briefly until just such a dough is formed. Add the dried fruits and muesli and mix carefully

    Form the dough into a roll on some flour. Cut into 8 pieces and sprinkle with brown sugar. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: see manufacturer) for about 14 minutes. Leave to cool down
