Ingredients

  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 250 g green beans
  • 250 g peeled broad beans (gross approx. 600 g)
  • 250 g Carrots
  • 1 (approx. 400 g) medium sized kohlrabi
  • 250 g Potatoes
  • 250 g peeled peas (gross approx. 650 g)
  • 1 collar Parsley
  • 3/4 l Milk
  • 100 g Butter
  • 6-8 discs Cottage ham (à 60-75 g)

Directions

    Bring 1 litre of water and some salt to the boil. Wash green beans, drain well, clean and break. Put the broad beans and green beans into the boiling salted water, cover and cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes. In the meantime peel and wash the carrots, kohlrabi and potatoes. Cut carrots and potatoes into slices, kohlrabi into slices. Add everything to the beans and cook for another 10 minutes.

    Then add the peas and simmer for another 5 minutes. Wash parsley, shake dry, cut or chop into fine strips. Bring milk, butter, parsley and a little salt to the boil briefly. Drain the vegetables, place them in a preheated tureen and pour the hot milk over them. Serve immediately. Serve cottage ham extra
