Ingredients

  • 500 g Pork escalope (in pieces)
  • 1 bell pepper, large, yellow
  • 150 g cherry tomatoes
  • 1 Vegetable Onion
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 40 g streaky smoked bacon
  • 1 red onion
  • 3 Stem(s) flat leaf parsley
  • 1 Stalk sage
  • 1 TABLESPOON Butter or margarine
  • 250 g chunky tomatoes
  • 1-2 TEASPOONS medium hot mustard
  • 7-10 Tbsp a few squirts of lemon juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Lemon and parsley

Directions

    For the skewers, wash the meat, dab dry and cut into cubes. Clean and wash the peppers and cherry tomatoes, cut the peppers into pieces. Peel the vegetable onion, cut into large pieces. Put meat and vegetable cubes alternately on skewers. Fry in hot oil for about 8 minutes while turning.

    Season with salt and pepper. For the sauce, finely dice bacon. Peel and chop the red onion. Wash the herbs and chop as well. Heat the fat. Brown bacon and onion in it. Deglaze with chunky tomatoes, bring to the boil briefly. Stir in herbs. Season with salt, pepper, mustard and lemon juice.
