Clean, peel and quarter the pear and remove the core. Cut the flesh into slices. Grate Gouda roughly. Put toast slices on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Spread ham on top, cover with pear slices and sprinkle with cheese.
Bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: see manufacturer) for 12-15 minutes. Serve with cranberries.
