Sausage Salad

Ingredients

Servings: 8
  • 750 g Pork sausage
  • 3 Apples
  • 2 Onions
  • 150 g Gherkins (from the jar)
  • 1 glass (212 ml; drained weight 110 g) Corncob
  • 8 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 5 TABLESPOONS Herb Vinegar
  • 1 Small bowl of cress
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Capers (from the glass)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • several sheets Lettuce to garnish

Directions

    Peel the sausage and cut into slices. Wash apples thoroughly, quarter and core them. Cut apple quarters into slices. Peel onions and cut into rings. Drain cucumbers and corncobs. Cut cucumbers into slices as well, cut corncobs in half if necessary. Mix oil and vinegar.

    Cut off the cress leaves with scissors and add to the vinaigrette with the capers. Season with salt and pepper. Mix the ingredients with the vinaigrette. Wash and drain the lettuce leaves. Arrange the sausage salad with some lettuce leaves on plates. Served with baguette
