Saté skewers with apricots

Ingredients

Servings: 8
  • 3 Spring onions
  • 8 Apricot halves (from the can)
  • 500 g Pork escalope
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Mango chutney (from the jar)
  • 1 TABLESPOON Soy sauce
  • 8 Metal skewers

Directions

    Clean, wash and pat dry the spring onions. Cut into pieces at an angle. Halve the apricot halves. Dab the schnitzel meat dry and cut it into thin, approx. 3 cm wide strips. Place the meat strips on skewers, alternating with pieces of apricot and spring onion.

    Season with salt and pepper. Fry in hot oil on both sides for about 3 minutes. Mix chutney and soy sauce. Brush the skewers with the sauce shortly before the end of the cooking time
