Sandwich with poppy seed cream

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 250 g Strawberries
  • 1 TABLESPOON Sugar
  • 200-250 g Mascarpone
  • 150 g Yoghurt with poppy seeds and marzipan (e.g. by Ehrmann)
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Icing sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Lemon juice
  • 8 thin butter waffles

Directions

    Wash, clean and halve the strawberries. Sprinkle with sugar

    Mix mascarpone, yoghurt, icing sugar and lemon juice briefly. Put 1 big blob on 4 waffles. Smooth all around a little bit. Place the remaining waffles on top. Serve with strawberries

    As an alternative: If you cannot find the poppy-seed marzipan yoghurt in the chiller cabinet, use vanilla or rhubarb yoghurt
