Ingredients

  • 400 g Flour
  • 2 TEASPOONS Salt
  • 250 ml cool water
  • 5 ml Lemon juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp FÜLLUNG
  • 500 g minced beef
  • 1 Garlic clove pressed
  • 2 medium onions chopped
  • 4 Spring onions chopped
  • 1 TEASPOON minced ginger
  • 1 chopped chili pepper
  • 1 TABLESPOON fresh coriander chopped
  • 3 TABLESPOONS melted butter
  • 7-10 Tbsp ½ tsp curcuma
  • 7-10 Tbsp ½ Tsp Masala
  • 7-10 Tbsp Oil

Directions

    First of all to prepare the dough. For this, put the flour and salt in a bowl. Add water until a tough dough is formed. Then add the lemon juice and knead the dough thoroughly.

    Then cut the dough into twelve equal parts and roll into small balls. Roll these balls into circles with a diameter of about 10 cm. Cut the dough to form a rectangle, which is then cut into two triangles.

    Which can then be folded into Maultaschen. Then place the triangles on a hot plate (without fat) in an oven preheated to 220°C for 3-4 minutes.

    Now for the preparation of the filling. Fry the minced beef together with the turmeric in a pan. Then mix in salt, garlic, ginger, onions and chillies and let everything fry together.

    After 1-2 minutes, stir in spring onions, masala, melted butter and the coriander leaves.

    Now the filling can be placed on the dough triangles and these can be folded into triangle pockets. It is important to coat the glued areas with some flour and water so that the pockets do not open during frying.

    Deep-fry: For example, heat plenty of oil in a wok and deep-fry the dumplings from both sides until they are glowing brown.
