Oat Plum Cookies with aniseed flavor

Ingredients

  • 80 g dried plums from California
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Water
  • 100 g soft butter
  • 2 Eggs (M)
  • 100 g demerara sugar
  • 1-2 TEASPOONS Anise powder
  • 150 g Melt flakes (extra tender oat flakes)
  • 100 g Flour
  • 3 deleted Tsp Baking Powder
  • 50 g Wholegrain oat flakes

Directions

    Puree dried plums with water.

    Cream butter with eggs, sugar and aniseed powder with the whisk of the hand mixer. Stir in plum puree. Mix the flakes with flour and baking powder. Stir in quickly with the dough hooks of the hand mixer.

    Mix in whole grain oat flakes.

    Using two teaspoons of the dough, place small heaps on baking trays lined with baking paper and press them flat a little. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (gas: level 3-4, fan oven: 180 °C) for about 12 minutes.
