Wash the sage, shake dry and pluck off the leaves. Wash and slice the tomatoes. Cut the ciabatta into 12 slices.
Drizzle the ciabatta with oil. Cover each with 1-2 tomato slices and sage leaves and season with pepper. Wrap 1-2 slices of ham around each. Grill on the hot grill at a moderate heat for 3-4 minutes on each side.
