Rice pudding with plum-apple compote

Ingredients

  • 1 l Milk
  • 90 g Sugar
  • 250 g Rice Pudding
  • 250 g Plums
  • 2 (approx. 300 g) small apples (autumn)
  • 1 piece(s) untreated lemon peel
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 1 TEASPOON ground cinnamon
  • 2 TABLESPOONS colourful sugar pearls

Directions

    Put milk and 20 g sugar in a saucepan and bring to the boil while stirring. Sprinkle in rice and let it swell at low heat for about 40 minutes. In the meantime, wash, halve and stone the plums. Depending on the size, cut the flesh smaller if necessary. Peel apples, quarter them and remove seeds. Dice the fruit flesh

    Put the fruit and 100 ml water in a pot. Add 50 g sugar, lemon peel and cinnamon stick and boil down at medium heat for 15-20 minutes while stirring continuously. Serve rice pudding and compote cold or warm. Mix the remaining sugar, ground cinnamon and sugar pearls and serve with the rice pudding
