Quark layer dish with berries

Ingredients

  • 1 untreated lemon
  • 200 ml Milk
  • 50 g ground poppy seed
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Sugar
  • 500 g Low-fat curd
  • 100 ml Buttermilk
  • 250 g Cream curd
  • 1 package (300 g) deep-frozen multicoloured berry plate
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cherries

Directions

    Wash the lemon thoroughly and rub dry. Finely grate the peel, then squeeze one half of the lemon. Bring the milk, poppy seeds, vanilla sugar, 2 tablespoons of sugar and lemon zest to the boil and allow to swell at low heat for 10-15 minutes while stirring. Let the poppy seed mixture cool down.

    Mix the low-fat curd, buttermilk, remaining sugar and lemon juice. Stir the cream quark into the poppy seed mixture. Layer the poppy seed quark, buttermilk quark and berries in a bowl. Decorate as desired with 2 fresh cherries
