Quark cookies with oranges and grapefruits

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 3 Oranges
  • 2 Grapefruits
  • 5 Eggs (size M)
  • 250 g Low-fat curd
  • 100 g Semolina
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Butter or margarine
  • 2 TABLESPOONS flaked almonds
  • 1 TABLESPOON Icing sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Orange slices and balm

Directions

    Peel oranges and grapefruits so that the white skin is completely removed. Cut out fillets between the parting skins. Separate eggs. Beat egg whites until stiff. Mix egg yolk, quark, semolina, salt and vanillin sugar. Fold in egg white.

    Heat the fat in a pan. Add small pieces of pastry in portions and bake until golden brown while turning. In the meantime, roast the almonds in a pan without fat until golden brown. Remove the finished cookies from the pan and keep warm. Arrange the curd cookies with orange and grapefruit fillets on 4 plates. Sprinkle with icing sugar and flaked almonds and serve decorated with orange slices and lemon balm
