Cauliflower in ham sauce

Ingredients

  • 150 g baby potatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 250 g Cauliflower
  • 100 ml low-fat milk (1.5% fat)
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS sauce thickener
  • 50 g Salmon ham
  • 1/2 bunch mixed herbs (chives, chervil, cress)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated nutmeg
  • 7-10 Tbsp Herbs

Directions

    Peel and wash the potatoes and cook them in boiling salted water for about 15 minutes. In the meantime, clean and wash the cauliflower and cut it into small florets. Cook in 1/4 litre boiling salted water for about 10 minutes.

    Add milk. Bind with sauce thickener. Cut ham into strips, wash and chop herbs and stir both into the cauliflower sauce. Season to taste with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Serve sprinkled with potatoes and fresh herbs.
