Quark casserole with pears

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe pear (about 250 g each)
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 2 Eggs (size M)
  • 80 g Butter or margarine
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated rind of 1 untreated lemon
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 400 g Low-fat curd
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Whipped cream
  • 100 g Flour
  • 50 g crushed almonds
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Breadcrumbs
  • 1 TABLESPOON flaked almonds
  • 1-2 TEASPOONS Icing sugar for dusting
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease

Directions

    Grease an ovenproof dish (approx. 30 cm long). Wash and quarter the pears. Cut out the core. Cut pears into slices and sprinkle with lemon juice. Separate the eggs. Mix fat with sugar, egg yolk, lemon peel, salt, quark, cream, flour and ground almonds. Beat the egg white until stiff, fold into the quark mixture.

    Layer the quark mixture with pear wedges in the mould. Sprinkle breadcrumbs over it. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 40-50 minutes. 20 minutes before the end of the baking time, sprinkle flaked almonds over the casserole and bake with it. Remove. Sprinkle the casserole with icing sugar if necessary. Delicious with chocolate sauce
