Ingredients

  • 1/4 l Milk
  • 500 g Flour
  • 30 g fresh yeast
  • 1 TABLESPOON + 185 g sugar
  • 75 g soft butter
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 2 Eggs (size M)
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 150 g Raisins
  • 1/2 TEASPOON Cinnamon
  • 1 l oil for frying

Directions

    Warm the milk lukewarm. Pour flour into a bowl, make a depression in the middle. Crumble the yeast into it, mix with some lukewarm milk, 1 tablespoon sugar and some flour from the rim to a liquid pre-dough. Cover and leave to rise in a warm place for about 15 minutes

    Place 85 g sugar, butter, vanillin sugar, eggs and salt on the rim of the bowl. Add the rest of the milk and knead everything into a smooth dough using the dough hooks of the hand mixer. Finally knead in the raisins. Cover the dough and let it rest in a warm place for another 45 minutes. Mix 100 g sugar and cinnamon

    Heat the oil to approx. 175 °C. Use a tablespoon to cut off balls and fry in portions in hot fat until golden brown, turning once. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar while still hot
