Warm the milk lukewarm. Pour flour into a bowl, make a depression in the middle. Crumble the yeast into it, mix with some lukewarm milk, 1 tablespoon sugar and some flour from the rim to a liquid pre-dough. Cover and leave to rise in a warm place for about 15 minutes
Place 85 g sugar, butter, vanillin sugar, eggs and salt on the rim of the bowl. Add the rest of the milk and knead everything into a smooth dough using the dough hooks of the hand mixer. Finally knead in the raisins. Cover the dough and let it rest in a warm place for another 45 minutes. Mix 100 g sugar and cinnamon
Heat the oil to approx. 175 °C. Use a tablespoon to cut off balls and fry in portions in hot fat until golden brown, turning once. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar while still hot
Waiting time approx. 1 hour
