Potato stew with boiled fillet

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 400 g Tafelspitz (piece of beef tail)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 500 g Potatoes
  • 1 Stalk leek (leek)
  • 1 small radish
  • 4 medium-sized tomatoes
  • 1 potty Marjoram
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper

Directions

    Wash the meat, dab dry and cut into cubes. Bring 3/4 litres of lightly salted water to the boil. Add meat and cook for about 1 hour at low heat. In the meantime, peel and wash the potatoes and cut them into cubes.

    Add the potatoes to the meat 15 minutes before the end of the cooking time. Clean and wash the leek. Peel the radish and cut into quarters lengthwise. Cut both into pieces and add 10 minutes before the end of cooking time. Wash and halve the tomatoes, remove the seeds.

    Cut the flesh into slices. Add tomato slices to the stew and heat up briefly. Wash the marjoram. Add the plucked leaves to the stew. Season with salt and pepper.
