Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a saucepan. Brown the diced ham briefly. Add 1 litre of water, stock and soup greens and bring to the boil. In the meantime peel and wash the potatoes and cut them into 2-3 cm pieces.
Add to the soup, season with salt and pepper and cook covered for about 20 minutes. Cut the sausages into slices. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a pan, fry the sausages briefly. Season soup again and serve with the sausage slices.
