Wash the apple, quarter it, cut out the core. Cut apple quarters into small pieces. Cut bacon into pieces. Wash parsley, pluck leaves from the stalks and chop.
Mix apple, bacon and parsley. Form 4 dumplings from the dumpling dough with wet hands. Flatten the dumplings, spread the apple and bacon mixture over them and form them into dumplings again. Cook in boiling salted water at medium heat for 20-30 minutes.
Melt the butter. Fry the breadcrumbs in it. Remove the dumplings, drain and spread the butter crumbs on top.
