Ingredients

  • 80 g Onion baguette
  • 1 Onion
  • 1/2 bunch Oregano
  • 500 g mixed minced meat
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1 TABLESPOON clarified butter
  • 1 (approx. 800 g) Pointed cabbage
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Butter
  • 400 ml Vegetable broth (instant)
  • 20 g dried tomatoes
  • 100 g Mushrooms
  • 40 g Spring onions
  • 1 TABLESPOON Roasted onions
  • 7-10 Tbsp wooden skewers

Directions

    Soak the baguette in cold water. Peel and finely chop the onion. Wash oregano and dab dry. Pluck the leaves, except for a few for garnishing, from the stems and chop finely. Squeeze out the bread. Knead bread, onion, minced onion, oregano and egg.

    Season with salt and pepper. Form 4 meatballs from the dough. Cover the meatballs with some oregano leaves and press them down a bit. Heat clarified butter in a pan. Fry the meatballs for about 10 minutes. In the meantime clean, wash and slice the cabbage. Fix the slices with wooden sticks. Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a pan and fry the slices briefly. Add vegetable stock and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Cut tomatoes into fine strips. Clean and clean the mushrooms and cut them into fine slices. Clean and wash spring onions and cut into fine rings.
