Wash the plums, dab dry and cut in half. Remove stones, cut plums smaller if necessary. Bring the plums, 1/8 litre water, sugar and cinnamon stick to the boil and cook for 5-10 minutes at low heat. Remove the cinnamon stick and stir in the wine. Serve stewed fruit hot or cold with an ice cream scoop. Sprinkle with Amarettini
