Plum compote

Ingredients

Servings: 1
  • 750 g Plums or damsons
  • 1/4 l Plum juice or water
  • 1/2 TEASPOON ground cinnamon
  • 1 knife tip ground aniseed
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 1 TABLESPOON Cornstarch

Directions

    Wash plums, cut in half, stone. Cook with juice, spices and sugar at low heat for about 10-15 minutes. Stir cornflour with a little cold water until smooth. Bind the plum compote with it, bring to the boil again.

    Possibly sweeten it. Let it cool down.
