Plum-apricot chutney

Ingredients

  • 500 g Plums
  • 500 g Apricots
  • 2 Onions
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 piece(s) (approx. 2,5 cm) Ginger
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1 TABLESPOON Mustard seeds
  • 1 TEASPOON Salt
  • 200 g demerara sugar
  • 150 ml Red wine vinegar

Directions

    Wash, halve, stone and slice the plums and apricots. Peel onions and garlic and chop finely. Peel ginger and grate finely. Heat the oil in a pot and fry the onions in it until transparent.

    Add apricots, plums, mustard seeds, ginger and salt. Bring to the boil and simmer for about 10 minutes while stirring. Add sugar and vinegar and simmer for another 20 minutes while stirring. Pour the chutney hot into glasses and close them immediately
