Ingredients

  • 2 Bread rolls from the previous day
  • 2 Onions
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 750 g mixed minced meat
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Pizza aux herbes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 4 Tomatoes
  • 150 g Sheep's cheese
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp fresh thyme
  • 7-10 Tbsp Oak leaf salad and sage

Directions

    Soak rolls in cold water. Peel and finely chop onions and garlic. Knead minced, squeezed out roll, onions, garlic and eggs. Season with pizza herbs, salt and pepper. Clean, wash and slice the tomatoes. Cut cheese into thin slices as well.

    Form approx. 16 small meatballs from the minced meat mixture. Fry in hot oil while turning for about 10 minutes. Put them on a baking tray. Cover with one slice of tomato and one slice of cheese. If necessary, sprinkle with fresh thyme leaves and bake in a preheated oven (electric: 200 °C/gas: level 3) for about 10 minutes. Arrange on a plate with oak leaf salad and sage
