Pita bags with gyros

Ingredients

  • 400 g Pork escalope
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Oil (e.g. olive oil)
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Gyros spice salt
  • 250 g Low-fat curd
  • 250 g Whole milk yoghurt
  • 1-2 Garlic cloves
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper
  • 2 medium-sized onions
  • 4 medium-sized tomatoes
  • 1 small iceberg lettuce

Directions

    Wash the meat, pat dry and cut into thin strips. Mix oil and gyros spice. Put the meat in a bowl, mix it and let it soak well

    Mix the quark and yoghurt. Peel the garlic and press it into the quark using a garlic press. Stir and season to taste

    Peel onions and cut them into thin rings. Wash, clean and slice the tomatoes. Clean, wash and cut lettuce into strips. Mix the prepared salad ingredients

    Fry the gyros meat in the seasoning oil for about 8 minutes while turning. Cut toast pockets in half crosswise and moisten slightly with water. Heat up in the toaster at low to medium setting for 2-3 minutes. Fill with salad, gyros and garlic quark
