Cut the pineapple in half and, except for a gap for decoration, peel and dice the flesh. Drain the cherry apples. Put the pineapple and apples in a punch bowl, pour Calvados over them and let them steep for about 30 minutes. Fill up with wine. Add well chilled cider just before serving. Serve decorated with the pineapple wedge
