Peel, quarter, core and cut the pears into pieces. Weigh 660 g. Rinse cranberries briefly with cold water. Mix the pears and cranberries with the gelling sugar in a large pot.
Bring everything to the boil while stirring over high heat. Let it boil for about 3 minutes at the same heat and stir constantly. Season to taste with lemon juice and pear brandy. Immediately pour the food into prepared glasses, close them, turn them over and put them on the lid for about 5 minutes.
