Pasta with cheese sauce \"Tre formaggi\"

Ingredients

  • 400 g Leeks (leek)
  • 1/2 bunch Thyme
  • 400 g Turkey Breast
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper
  • 400 g ribbon noodles
  • 30 g Butter or margarine
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Flour
  • 250 ml Milk
  • 100 g grated gouda cheese
  • 50 g grated Grana Padano cheese
  • 100 g Double cream cream cheese

Directions

    Clean, wash and cut the leek into rings. Wash the thyme, dab dry, put some aside for garnishing, chop the rest finely. Wash the meat, dab dry and cut into strips.

    Heat the oil in a pot and fry the meat all around. Add the leek and fry for 1-2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and remove. Cook pasta in boiling salted water according to package instructions.

    Melt the butter in hot frying fat. Sprinkle flour over it and sweat while stirring. Gradually stir in 250 ml water and milk. Simmer for 5 minutes. Put 2 tablespoons of Gouda aside. Stir in the rest of the cheese bit by bit.

    Stir in thyme, meat and leek, season with salt and pepper. Drain the pasta and let it drain. Serve sprinkled with the sauce and remaining cheese. Garnish with thyme put aside.
