Paprika steak pan

Ingredients

Servings: 3
  • 3-4 Stem(s) fresher or
  • 1 TEASPOON dried thyme
  • 1–2 Garlic cloves
  • 3 Beef hoof steaks (approx. 150 g each)
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 3 Peppers (e.g. yellow and orange)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper

Directions

    Wash the thyme and put 1-2 stems aside for garnishing. Pluck off leaves. Peel garlic, chop finely or press it through the garlic press. Dab meat dry and cut into strips.

    Mix with 3 tablespoons of oil, thyme leaves and garlic.

    Clean, wash and cut the peppers into wide strips or pieces. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large frying pan. Sauté the peppers for about 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Take out.

    Place the meat and marinade in the hot cooking fat and fry for 3-4 minutes. Add paprika again and fry everything else for about 2 minutes.

    Season paprika steak pan with salt and pepper. Serve and garnish with remaining thyme. Flatbread and sour cream are delicious with it.
