Mix flour and baking powder and sieve onto a work surface. Press a depression in the middle. Pour the egg into the hollow. Spread the fat in flakes, sugar, vanillin sugar, orange fruit and salt on the edge of the flour and knead to a smooth dough. Cover the dough and chill for about 1 hour. Roll out dough on a floured work surface (approx. 3 mm thick).
Cut out approx. 60 triangles (each side 7 cm long) Place triangles on three baking sheets lined with baking paper and bake in the preheated oven (electric range: 175°C/ gas: level 2) one after the other for approx. 15 minutes. Let the cookies cool down on a cake rack. Roughly chop the chocolate and melt in a bain-marie. Use the melted chocolate to form two triangles to form a star. Put a dab of orange jam in the middle of the biscuit and place a macadamia nut on each. Results in about 30 pieces
