Knead flour, sugar, baking powder, vanilla sugar, orange liqueur, orange peel, fat, eggs and salt with the dough hooks of the hand mixer to a smooth dough. Knead in the almonds. Cover the dough and put it in a cool place for about 30 minutes. Form the dough into 6 long rolls (approx. 3 cm Ø) on a floured work surface.
Place rolls at a distance on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven (electric range: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for 10-15 minutes. Take out and let cool down. Cut the rolls diagonally into approx. 1 cm thick slices. Place biscotti with a cut surface on the baking tray and bake in the preheated oven (electric range: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for 8-10 minutes
