Peel and halve the red onions and cut into strips. Wash and chop parsley. Wash chops and dab dry. Season with salt and pepper and turn in flour.
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a flat roasting pan. Fry the chops in it on each side for about 2 minutes. Mix the red onion strips, breadcrumbs, 2 tbsp. oil and parsley. Spread evenly over the chops and press down slightly.
Bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/circulating air: 175 °C/gas: see manufacturer) for approx. 15 minutes.
In the meantime clean, wash and roughly dice the peppers. Peel onion and cut into strips. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil. Fry the onion and the bell peppers in it at medium heat for about 5 minutes. Season vegetables with salt, pepper and lemon juice.
Serve with the chops. Flatbread tastes good with it.
