Ingredients

  • 150 g Butter or margarine
  • 2 Eggs (size M)
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Whipped cream
  • 200 g demerara sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 375 g Flour
  • 1 TEASPOON Baking Powder
  • 125 g Cashew nuts
  • 60 g Pine nuts
  • 125 g unsalted peanut kernels
  • 60 g Pistachio kernels
  • baking paper

Directions

    Melt the fat and let it cool down a little. In the meantime whisk eggs and cream. Place the fat in a mixing bowl, stir in the sugar, vanillin sugar and salt. Add the egg cream. Mix flour and baking powder and knead everything with the dough hooks of the hand mixer to a smooth dough.

    Knead in cashew nuts, pine nuts, peanuts and pistachios. Form walnut-sized balls from the dough with floured hands. Place on three baking trays lined with baking paper and bake in the preheated oven (electric range: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) one after the other for about 20 minutes. Let the cookies cool down on a cake rack. Results in approx. 60 pieces
