Mustard chops with fried potatoes

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 800 g Potatoes
  • 2 medium-sized onions
  • 30 g streaky smoked bacon
  • 2-4 Tbsp Oil
  • 4 Pork chops (about 180 g each)
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, black pepper
  • 3 TABLESPOONS grainy mustard
  • 7-10 Tbsp Parsley for
  • 7-10 Tbsp Garnish

Directions

    Wash the potatoes thoroughly. Cook in water for about 20 minutes

    Onions peel, halve and cut into slices. Finely dice the bacon. Drain potatoes, rinse with cold water, peel and let cool. Then cut into slices.

    Heat 1-2 tablespoons of oil in a coated frying pan. Wash chops, dab dry and make a slight cut on the bone. Fry for 1 minute on each side. Season and spread with mustard. Fry on medium heat for another 4-5 minutes on each side

    In the meantime, fry the bacon and onions briefly in 1-2 tbsp. hot oil. Add the potatoes and fry for about 8 minutes, turning frequently. Arrange everything. Garnish with parsley. Serve with tomato salad
