Ingredients

  • 600 g Flour
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 250 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 1/4 l Milk
  • 1 1/2 cubes (60 g) fresh yeast
  • 6 Egg Yolk
  • 300 g Butter
  • 200 g Fruit mix candied
  • 100 g chopped hazelnuts
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Brandy
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease

Directions

    Put flour, salt, 175 g sugar and vanillin sugar into a mixing bowl and mix. Warm milk lukewarm, dissolve yeast in it. Pour on the prepared mixture, add egg yolk and 200 g soft butter and knead everything with the dough hooks of the hand mixer to a smooth dough. Cover and leave to rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes. In the meantime grease the moulds (11 x 8 cm; 300 ml content). Chop the fruit mix finer.

    Mix with hazelnuts and brandy. Knead under the yeast dough, divide into 6 pieces and place in the moulds. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for about 20 minutes. Melt 100 g butter. Drizzle over the panettone. Sprinkle with 75 g sugar and bake for 10-15 minutes
