Melon with lemon-vanilla sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 package Powdered sauce
  • 7-10 Tbsp "Vanilla Flavor
  • 7-10 Tbsp (for 1/2 l milk)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 g) Sugar
  • 1/2 l milk (1,5 % fat)
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated rind of 1/2 untreated lemon
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 1 TABLESPOON Amaretto liqueur
  • 1 (approx. 1.6 kg) small watermelon
  • 7-10 Tbsp Mint

Directions

    Mix sauce powder, sugar and 3 tablespoons of milk. Bring the rest of the milk to the boil and remove from the stove. Stir in the sauce powder and bring to the boil again while stirring. Season the vanilla sauce with lemon zest, lemon juice and Amaretto to taste. Cover the sauce with foil and let it cool down

    Cut melon into thick slices and remove seeds. Remove the flesh from the skin, cut it into pieces and place it back on the skin. Best to cool well

    Arrange one piece of melon and some lemon-vanilla sauce on each side and decorate with mint leaves as desired. The rest of the melon and lemon-vanilla sauce extra is enough
