Meatballs with feta cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 Bread rolls from the previous day
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 green peppers
  • 500 g Minced beef
  • 1 Egg
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp white pepper
  • 1/2 TEASPOON ground cumin
  • 100 g Sheep's cheese
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1/2 Head iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 Cucumber
  • 4 Tomatoes
  • 1 baby onion
  • 4 TABLESPOONS White wine vinegar
  • 7-10 Tbsp spiced pepper
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Parsley and pepperoni

Directions

    Soak rolls in cold water. Peel and finely chop the onion. Cut pepperoni into rings. Squeeze the bread roll well. Knead minced meat, roll, onion, pepperoni and egg well. Season with salt, pepper and cumin.

    Cut the feta cheese into 8 cubes. Form 8 meatballs from the minced dough, pressing 1 sheep's cheese cube in the middle of each. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the meatballs for about 10 minutes.

    In the meantime, clean the salad and cut into strips. Wash and quarter the cucumber and cut it into pieces. Wash the tomato. Peel and quarter onion. Cut both into slices. Mix vinegar, salt and pepper.

    Add oil. Mix the marinade with the salad ingredients and arrange on a plate. Place the meatballs on top and garnish with parsley and pepperoni.
