Shredded meat à la Stroganoff

Ingredients

  • 600 g Fillet of beef
  • 3 medium-sized onions
  • 200 g Mushrooms
  • 4 Gherkins
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Butter or margarine
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp white pepper
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Flour
  • 2 TEASPOONS Curry
  • 1/4 l Meat broth (instant)
  • 1 (250 g ) Cup of sour cream
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS medium hot mustard
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 1/2 bunch Parsley

Directions

    Dab meat dry and cut into strips. Peel onions and cut into rings. Wash, clean and slice the mushrooms. Cucumbers also cut into slices. Heat the fat in a pan and fry the meat in portions.

    Season with salt and pepper. Remove meat from the pan and set aside. Fry the onions and mushrooms in the cooking fat. Dust with flour and curry and sauté. Deglaze with broth and bring to the boil while stirring.

    Add cream and mustard. Add meat strips and gherkins and season with salt, pepper and sugar. Wash parsley, dab dry and cut into fine strips, except for something to garnish.

    Serve the slices garnished with parsley.
