Ingredients

Servings: 1
  • 1 Pork cutlet (approx. 100 g)
  • 2 tablespoons (20 g) Soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp (3 g) minced fresh ginger
  • 40 g Long grain rice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 100 g Leeks (leek)
  • 1/2 tsp (2 g) Cornstarch
  • 1 TABLESPOON Oil
  • 1/2 TEASPOON Chicken broth (instant)
  • 1 knife tip Sambal Oelek
  • 3 Stem(s) Chives
  • 2-3 wooden skewers

Directions

  1. 1

If necessary, dab cutlets dry and cut into cubes. Mix soy sauce and ginger. Spread the schnitzel with the sauce and marinate for about 30 minutes. In the meantime, put rice in a small pot in about 1/8 litre boiling, slightly salted water.

  2. 2

Cover the rice and let it soak for 15-18 minutes. Clean, wash and cut the leek into pieces. Drain the meat. Collect the marinade. Put meat and leek alternately on 2-3 wooden skewers.

  3. 3

Dust starch over it. Heat oil in a coated pan. Fry the skewers for 8-10 minutes while turning them until crispy. Remove skewers and keep warm. Add 5 tablespoons of water to the stock, bring to the boil and stir in the stock.

  4. 4

Season to taste with a little marinade and Sambal Oelek. Wash the chives and cut into small rolls. Drain the rice if necessary. Arrange skewers on the rice. Sprinkle the chives over the rice. Spread some sauce on the skewers.
